I've done the pill, the nuvaring, and Mirena IUD. All three had their ups and downs. None of them had bad side effects for me, really. The pill was hard for me to remember to take, the nuvaring was annoying, and the IUD just made me a little nervous (plus it was really painful to have inserted). But I never gained weight or had complications with anything.

Pill made me sick, patch made me severely depressed, depo made me bleed every day for a year, IUD punctured my uterus and condims break with nearly every other use.... I don't fare well with bc but I wish I did, I'd like some certainty in knowing baby number 3 will be the last!

None of the above. Would never use depo, pill screws up my hormones and i end up with depression and severe mood swings, and implant i constantly spotted and had massive and scarring acne. I used nuvaring, no side effects really, but hubby is getting the snip after this bub so I'm not bothering with bc

The depo made me gain too much weight, and my hormones were out of control. I will always vote pill first lol
