My boyfriend claims that when I straighten my hair or perm it,  I'm "losing touch of my black girl side And trying to be white." I argued that that was a wee but racist and that I like when my hair looks uniform, and when it's straight it can ventilate heat whereas my puffy curly waves lock in heat EVEN WHEN I HAVE IT IN A PONY TAIL. Also, it has more length when I straighten it, it goes past my boob when I do my hair 😊(also, gels, creams, mousses, and grease don't stand a chance against my curly wavy frizz monster... imagine princess diaries when Mia broke the man's brush)
