My 3 1/3 week old baby has to be bottlefed breastmilk because he had a tongue and lip tie that stopped him latching the breast properly, it has been lasered but he has gotten lazy and now isnt interested in my boob even with nipple sheild (if you have any tips please share on how i can get back to breastfeeding). Anyway he only cries when hes hungry never for anything else but when he starts its full blown not grizzles so of course i hurry to warm the bottle while he screams and wont settle. Most of the time he is good and i get it quick for him but 4 times now he has cried so much that he has turned blue, stopped breathing and his body goes stiff, so i have to pat his back and put the bottle in his mouth for him to settle and start breathing again. This freaks me the heck out and im so scared that something serious will happen. Does this happen to anyone else's babies or do you have any tips? Im going to talk to my midwife tomorrow when she comes. Please share some advice its the most horrible thing for a ftm to see her baby go through.
