mild cramps on cycle day 12; ovulation or birth control withdrawal ???

I just had my first period after coming off of birth control.  It was about 3-4 days late; and it lasted a day or two longer than usual. Other than those two things nothing unusual happened. Now it's cycle day 12 and I'm feeling very sad, i have cramping(mild but noticeable enough to be uncomfortable), and I'm very bloated. My cycle is usually 26-29 days. Could this be me ovulating or is this most body still getting rid of the BC. I don't want to get my hopes up because this my first cycle post BC. 

BTW- Im 21 and i was on birth control for almost 2 years. 9 months of depo and 11 months of the patch

I am temp charting but have only been doing it for a few days, and it's hard to remember every morning.

I also have ovulation test but I'm waiting to test. 

 Also, Im not trying to get pregnant, we are trying to naturally avoid it.
