diabetes and depression

Brenna
Hello, I'm 13 years old and I was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about 3 weeks ago. It was really scary because I was sick for long time and my parents did nothing not realizing I was peeing frequently, drinking lots, had headaches, dizziness, weakness, was getting bruises easily, numbness in my hands and feet, and I had a lot of downstairs issues (yeast infections and a bump on my butt) which were all sighs.
When I finally went to the hospital I they took blood and told we what it was. I then had to get 4 Ivs and round the cloak blood work and finger pricking in a four day stay in a total of 3 different hospitals.
I now must check my blood auger before and after every meal and take insulin before every meal with carbs.
When I first started doing this I was scared and then I was okay. I was learning and calm.
But recently I started to get overwhelmed catching up on homework at school and have to think about my diabetes all the time.
I am really depressed and am not at school. If anyone reads this, could you suggest anything to help me get over this depressing time, comment something nice, or if you have diabetes to share your story
