mother in law issues, advice needed!

So I've had a very hard pregnancy and I want to be induced on week 39 and my doctor said that was fine; unfortunately by MIL has to work 9-9 I go in on Monday night to be induced so they said expect the baby to be here on Tuesday and should I call the doctor back and ask her to change the date back to my original due date since my mother in law may not be there for his arrival or should I just leave it how it is?? I don't mean to be insensitive but I want to see him so bad and I've been aching all the time it's been miserable. Someone tell me if I've made the wrong decision!!
