too early to test?

Question

I am leaving for girls weekend in the morning.  I have a slight feeling I might be pregnant, but AF is due in 8 days.  We were planning to have drinks and relax in the spa....but I want to avoid that if I am pregnant...yet want to be able to enjoy them if I am not.  
I did do several opk and I never got a strong positive for a surge.  We did baby dance a few times during my fertile window.  
Hoping the test will give me my + that I have been hoping and praying for.  After a miscarriage last spring and my daughter, Adalyn, stillborn on 6-13-16 I desire to be pregnant again.

Answer

It's probably too early.  I wouldn't worry about having a couple drinks (maybe don't over do it) because you don't share blood with the baby until 5/6 weeks. It's still fed by the yolk sack until then. But maybe avoid a sauna or hot tub.  Good luck!
