To tell or not to tell...

I keep losing my babies. Early on but still not easy. My husband has been taking it really hard. So my question is should I wait until I get bloodwork to see if my HCG is high (that's been an issue. HCG staying really low) to tell my husband or should I tell him with first positive hpt?

He's such a sweet man and he tries to stay cool when I'm falling apart but as soon as I'm okay he breaks down. I don't want to break his heart again. Is it stupid to hide a positive hpt from him or is it okay to wait until I have a bit of hope for the next pregnancy?
