I had a doctors appointment Friday October 7

I had a doctors appointment Friday October 7. I had been contracting the night before but they weren't consistent. Aftet the dr. Checked my cervix she said that babies head was in place and my bag was bulging and that i would probably be having him that night or the next day but baby didnt want to wait. As i was leaving the dr. Office the contractions had gotten stronger. I started to regret that i told my hubby to stay home with the kids and i would drive myself to the dr but its a good thing we live five minutes away. And all of this was around 10.30am. Around 2pm i told my husband it was time to head to the hospital because contractions had become unbearable; 5 minutes apart. After dropping the kids off with their God father who was already in downtown Atlanta my contractions were back to back i mean no break in between at all just constant pain. We headrd to the hospital which was literally 5 minutes from where we dropped the kids off at and we run into rush hour traffic its like 245pm now it takes us 20 minutes to get to the hospital im feeling pressure the whole time praying to God we make it before my water breaks 300pm we get to the hopital go up to L&D and the dr checks me im 8.5 cm i have a couple more contractions they break my water at 9 cm i feel the urge to push the dr says this baby is coming now you are 10 cm I push 5 times and out pops a 8lb 3oz baby my first time needing stitches he was born at 402pm We almost didnt make it to the hospital
