My ovaries!

I went to laid down Thursday night could fall asleep because I was in so much pain. I woke up the next morning could barely get out of bed. Lots and lots of abdominal pain. I went to the ER because I thought I had apendacitus. I don't but I found out I have a cyst on my ovaries. I've heard it's common but I'm freaking out. And the pain has started back up again. Not unbareable pain but it hurts if I laugh or if I bend down. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm just looking for more insight.
