Where does your baby sleep? Is this harmful?

Question

Mine will only nurse to sleep and stay asleep if he is not moved. Hense sleeping with me, proped up on a pillow. (Avoiding reflux) or if he is in his fisher price swing. Is it harmful to his back to not lie flat on it? And always be proped up on pillows/at an incline?

I don't think the incline is a problem. 
I was told not to use pillows because it promotes suffocation (chin to chest, smothering) I let my baby sleep on a pillow in my bed at the hospital

I had the same concerns. Our Ped doesn't recommend Co-sleeping but it's what saves my sanity and I'm honest with her about it. Check out Co-sleeping safe guidelines on line. We just got her a Co-sleeper set up for our bed. I got mine at a second hand store and I feel so much less anxious about the potential risks of bed sharing.

You are right! Not a good idea for their physical development to sleep in a swing or propped on a pillow. It's also a really hard habit to break down the road.

How old is your baby? And how long do you keep him awake between naps?

My baby sleeps on a pillow next to me she has severe reflux after a while I put the pillow in the bassinet and she sleeps right next to me. I have insomnia so I don't sleeep but even when I do sleep I always feel the baby move so I find that it helps her sleep.
