Any of you have panic attacks and how do you deal with it?
I've had panic attacks mostly my whole life. Not as bad as they are the last couple years. I'll hyperventilate to the point where I break the blood vessels in my face, I'll hysterically cry, have a hard time breathing, black out and not remember anything for a good 10 minutes. I take antidepressants but sometimes it doesn't seem to help with my attacks. I feel like my boyfriend doesn't understand. He helps as much as he can, but, bless his soul sometimes it just doesn't help. Sometimes he triggers my panic attacks and I don't think he gets it. I haven't had a bad panic attack in a couple months but last night was the worst one I ever had. I've gone to therapist etc etc but not very helpful.
My triggers: yelling, big crowds and sometimes loud noises around me (depending on what it is)
Anyway, how do you girls deal with your attacks? And do you have anyone who understands?
