ovulation kits? breastfeeding...

Hi ladies. Sadly, AF showed up 😞 I was a week late so hoping she was gone.

I have an 11month old who is EBF.... I got my period in July and it was regular until  this month. My dr said that while breastfeeding your cycle can bounce around.

Any ideas of when to use ovulation kits?? TTC#2 and wanting to figure it all out before I miss the ovulation window.

I really appreciate the help.

Hmm... here is my advice...
Take your bbt (vaginally its more accurate) every morning. It won't tell you before you ovulate but it will tell you that you have ovulated and give you peace of mind.
To make sure you don't miss your fertile window you should have sex once every three days, which will cover your bases.
I don't use OPKs anymore - they never work for me and just added to my anxiety about ttc!

I conceived my second daughter while I was breastfeeding my first. ❤️
