Moms with acid reflux babies..help!
Any other mommies here have their LO with AR or silent reflux? I need help..
My LO is 8 weeks and has silent reflux.
The Dr. prescribed zantac.
He's been taking it and there's a slight improvement in his fussiness and crying which is good. However, the milk is still coming up, he still doesn't sleep we'll because of it. He does the chewing motion and gags and coughs sometimes. The pediatrician had also recommended for me to try enfamil AR but warned that it might make him constipated (which is why we went with Zantac instead) he's drinking enfamil gentle ease right now. I've tried gerber soothe formula (didn't notice a huge difference) I've tried gerber probiotics (again didn't notice a huge difference) I give him gripe water every day (it does help sometimes) nothing seems to really help keep the milk from coming up and making him uncomfortable. According to the Dr. she said enfamil AR would come up less because it's thicker. I've been thinking of trying it out.
Any of you have your LO on enfamil AR?
How do you deal with the constipation?
How else do you deal with your LO acid reflux?
What formula/products do you use?
P.s. I already do the sitting up when feeding/after feeding and elevated while sleeping.
