Switching birth control need some opinions

So I need some opinions and experiences that people have had so I can't kinda decide what might be best for me. I had the nexplanon but after the first year I had periods every other week so I got it taken out. Now I have the Skyla IUD and it is giving me horrible cramps to the point where I have thought about going to the emergency room. I have heard that the shot makes it really hard to become pregnant after you get off of it but I suck at taking pills every day. So any advice would be greatly appreciated:)
