Timing for Clomid?

Question

I've heard some people do better taking Clomid before bed due to side effects... can it keep you awake? I'm starting 50mg Monday and think I might take it after work. No one at work knows I'm starting fertility medication and I'm worried about side effects. Can you please tell me about the side effects you have experienced?

Also how many mg of Mucinex to take during fertile days? I've also started drinking tons of water and trying to eat really healthy in hopes of feeling good while I'm using the medication.

I took it for the first time this month, took it at night and only had hot flashes and was slightly more emotional!

I used clomid this month for the first time, 50mg days 3-7.. took it at night and no it didn't keep me awake. I had one hot flash the following afternoon and a slight headache the last few days but other than that it was pretty uneventful for me!

Unsure on mucinex, I was ready with the pressed as I heard clomid can dry you up but clomid gave me some serious cm so never used it.

Finished first round on the 7th only side effects were hot flashes. On my tww good luck ladies

I had absolutely no side effects on Clomid.  Might as well have been a flinstones vitamin.  Not pregnant yet but it did make me ovulate a few times!

I started taking it this cycle I'm on day 3 taking it and I haven't had any side effects yet. Hope I don't get any either 🙈🙈

I've used clomid for 2 rounds now. No side affects and I took it in the evening with dinner but I also am up all night on night shift.. it it was kind of like my morning if you think about it.

I had TERRIBLE headaches while taking clomid. I also took mine at night due to hot flashes. It didn't cause insomnia for me. The headache kept me up at night though, but I kept a headache the whole time I was taking it.
