TMI . Mucus plug?

Question

Im 18 weeks +2 days, and when I wiped it looked like yellowish green snot. I've been having terrible back pain, but no cramping or spotting. I'm just worried I might already be losing my mucus plug, and im super early on. Any one have any clue what this is?

It could be my friend lost her at 20 weeks initially and it grew back and se lost it a few times throughout her pregnancy. Now she has a 1 week old which made it to full term. Her OB said it's a normal thing. I would be more concerned with the back pain, I know I have back labor so all my pain has always been in my back instead of upfront  Maybe go in just to be safe

It can regrow BUT with the cramping- see if your dr can check it out. I kept going into preterm labor at 32 weeks- I ignored it and it progressed. 
Doesn't hurt to get checked out. They can hook you up for NSTs to see if you're having contractions, and try to stop preterm labor (if that's it).

The plug replenishes itself daily that is why you'll have an increased amount of discharge that seemingly gets to be more abundant as your pregnancy progresses. After pooping there can be more, early in the morning, physical exertion, things like that can cause more to come out at once. It's normal. A mucus plug or "bloody show" is actually tinged with blood.
