Is it possible to get pregnant while on birth control?

Im just curious. I have never taken birth control but im thinking about BC once baby is born and maybe a couple month because i want to nurse first. Im just curious like how would you know you are? Would your period not come?

Yes, although most of the time people who say they got pregnant on birth control weren't using it properly.
But no birth control is 100% effective

Most of the bc pill options that stop your period for months on end have been discontinued because of bad side effects (though they can throw your first few cycles out of whack). No pill is 100% effective.  If you're planning to breastfeed that also limos your options, since not all pills are age to nurse with.   You should discuss the options with your dr and see what will work best for your situation.

I am right now. I didn't stop taking it until my first ultrasound at 11weeks. My rainbow came to stick rather it was raining or not.

It's not uncommon on the pill. If you don't take it the same time everyday can cause mishaps as well as some medications
