nickname we hate

My husband and I have decided to name our baby boy Tyler James.. BUT, we really hate the nickname TJ... (no offense to anyone who has a TJ) it's a fine nickname for anyone but our baby.

So anyways, I've expressed this to our family (especially my father in law) and he still continues to call him TJ.... advice? We are considering changing his name just cus of that.
