Modifying diet for baby's sake?
Has anyone had to go to extremes when modifying their diet while breastfeeding so baby doesn't vomit/scream from colic? My daughter is 7 weeks old and we've been dealing with some nasty colic since about 3 weeks. I was advised to cut gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts, and gas causing veggies from my diet to see if it helped. Well, I've noticed a marked decrease in the colic but the diet really sucks. If you've cut things out, when did you start to reintroduce foods? And which ones did you try first? It's worth it because she seems happier and is gaining weight, but eating this way really limits my diet. I end up making 2 separate meals because my husband would starve if he had to eat like I do. Any help is appreciated!
