Desperate for honest opinions!

We found out gender today and had planned on announcing tonight because it's basically impossible to hide my belly. 13+3 with baby #3. We originally thought we would announce on Halloween but it's been so hot here I haven't been able to hide under hoodies like I had planned.

Here's the dilemma, my mil's boyfriend of 8 years is in the hospital and they are going to let him pass away in the morning. I don't want her to associate baby boy with one of the saddest nights in her life. Should we just go ahead and wait a few weeks? I will literally have to hide from family for the next 2 weeks if we wait.
