Political Views

Alright ladies, let's be nicer than the debates.

What are your political views, and why?

Please back up your statements and opinions with supportive facts.

I, myself, feel that neither Trump nor Clinton would make a decent president, that both have extreme drawbacks. Trump fails to detail his plans, such as his plan concerning entitlement - all he said was to repeal and replace Obamacare, but with what? To me, it seems that he had an idea concerning the problem, but more needs done to fix it, and I feel he has not adequately thought through the process. Furthermore, he is known in this campaign for his amazing "wall", his plan for immigration and the American-Mexican border. However, he has admitted the wall to cost $10-12 billion dollars just to build it, with other people projecting building costs up to $25 billion. If he plans on making drastic cuts to taxes, will the government REALLY be able to afford such a massive project? He says that he plans on making countries that we have protected "pay up", but I doubt that it will amount to the money needed for the Great Wall of America. I worry that Trump's policies are not quite as well thought out as people hope.

As for Hillary... I understand she wants to help the middle class and "invest in people", but won't her increasing the business taxes drive more away? I feel that if she simply continues the trend of expecting more corporation contribution, that more companies will simply move elsewhere, where there are lower taxes and people willing to work for less. I mean, it was even shown that the Trump clothing is made in foreign countries - I do not recall tbe names, but I remember the video in which it was exposed. Furthermore, if you make companies pay higher taxes, they will cut costs from the bottom up (of course, CEOs don't like pay cuts). People will be laid off, or, even better, people will be hired as part-time workers rather than full-time to avoid being given benefits. I, myself, am uninsured, and was cut to part-time at my first job two and a half months in specifically so the law firm I was at didn't have to provide benefits.

I have not looked into the third party candidates all that well, is anyone supportive of one of them?
