It's 3, not 2. A switched flipped when my son turned 3. They become more vocal and want to be more independent at 3. My son is pretty even tempered, but there's a definite difference.

My daughter is almost 4 and still in her "terrible twos". I'm at a point where nothing works so might just have to start spanking her. That was the only thing I responded to growing up..

My daughter never went through it. She's stubborn on some points, and she annoyed me sometimes, but not to the point of it being terrible. She's three now and is definitely testing boundaries sometimes, but still not bad.

Not 2s, 3 and 4 year olds are the worst!!! My 5 year olds were very difficult too! I have a 4, 6, and 8 year old. They seam to calm down some by 6 but my oh my, 3-4 year olds really give you a run for your money!!! I LOVE 2 year olds.
