Unpaid maternity leave might make us lose our home..

So I'm fixing to go on maternity leave for 6 weeks cause I'm due November 28th . Well my job pays for all the bills. Rent , lights, internet. My fiance doesn't hardly make anything and can only afford the phone bill and gas. He's been trying really hard to get this job where he'd make enough for me to be a stay at home mommy pretty much. He thought he'd have it by now but doesn't, so we have no idea how we're going to pay rent for the month of December. I'm saving up as much money as I can but then again I'm the one who pays for everything so I usually have nothing left over...

How did y'all make it through unpaid maternity leave? :/ what should I do?

And we both don't come from families with a lot of money, so I'm not going to ask them for help when they're pretty bad off themselves.. So asking for help from family isn't the answer to this

Update: we already live in a really small apartment that barely fits the stuff we have now. Plus either way our rent will go up, and this apartment isn't much more expensive. Two bedrooms and big enough for the all of us. We can afford it if we're both working, but since I'm gonna be on unpaid leave we won't. My fiancé should have this new job soon, I hope, but just in case if he doesn't get it we need to figure out what to do... I'm honestly scared. Wish maternity leave wasn't so shitty here in the US. I'm thankful for only having 6 weeks, only one month of bills.. Even though it's poopy at the same time.
