Ftm here. Yesterday my water broke at 8am, and I was told to go straight to labor and delivery to confirm it. So of course once I got there they confirmed what I already knew. The good news is I'm not having any contractions and my cervix is closed and up high. They told me my cervical length is still almost 5cm so it hasn't changed since 20 weeks. I'm looking for words of encouragement and hopefully someone who has a similar experience could share they're story with me. Right now my dr told me he would try to hold her in until 34 weeks and deliver her then. They don't know what caused my water to break because baby still had plenty of room even though I have a bicornate uterus (double uterus, one cervix, one vagina).
