How long did your husbands take off of work after baby arrived? Did they take advantage of maternity leave as well?

It's sad to me that men are given almost no time off for paternity leave 😕

2 months on FMLA using sick and vacation time. He's been saving up for quite a while for it.

My husband is just using his PTO but he will be taking off 3 weeks once babe is born!

It's paternity leave for fathers but my husband will be taking 2 weeks I believe.

3 weeks off work. Not sure how long he will take off after this coming bub is born

My husband gets 3 weeks paid "secondary carers" leave, so he will take that. Then he's hoping he'll be able to work from home once or twins a week for a while.

He's taking off 3 weeks..then calling in randomly, if need be after he goes back because he gets 12 weeeks total but we've got bills to pay so he's choosing to go back after 3.

Mine gets 3 months but we decided that he'll split it up.

My husband will only be taking two weeks off 😞 I wish he could take more time off but his work won't allow it!
