how soon after getting a uti would u feel it?

I had sex a few hours ago and didn't pee afterwards and I'm worried I have a uti. There's a slight burning feeling but it could just be me being paranoid. Would I be able to feel it already?

yea i usually notice it about 12-24 hours later. if i do have one, i'll notice my pee have a super strong smell. once you notice it, go to urgent care asap before it gets really uncomfortable. also (just a little tip my urologist told me) pee BEFORE! and AFTER! sex. When you pee before, it gets all the bacteria out that's already in there so it decreases your chances of getting one. I haven't got one in like 4 months! I had about 6 already this year smh
