You could drink the whole bottle, but the baby isn't going to come until it is ready to come. Castor oil is not recommended to induce labor anymore, it can do way more harm than good.

Took me 6 hours

I took it in around 5pm and had my daughter at 2:20 am the next day. But two hours after I took it I went to the bathroom twice it cleaned me out! Then I took a warm bath and went to the hospital. I started getting contractions after I had to go the bathroom

I took about 2oz.  So half a 4 oz bottle from Walgreens, I hadn't pooped in days so I used it to poo but if I went into labor then that'd be a plus. I pooed and felt so much better. I did have contractions but they stopped. But I have been having contractions for weeks now, so not 100% sure If it was just my normal ones or the castor oil caused them.
