Im going in to meet my obgyn tomorrow for my first real appointment and I will be 8weeks and 2days.  I expect he will want to do a trans-vaginal US to measure the baby and see/hear the heartbeat, but my husband has read that there is a small chance of infection and that you should not do a TS US.  Will I be far enough along to do it on my belly?  I REALLY want to see this baby!!  What do you think, is it worth the small risk to do it??
