I'm sure I'll get crap for this from some moms but my son loves it, he has multiple teeth coming in and cries for an hour or more because his gums hurt and we've tried just about everything to soothe him aside from Tylenol and nothing helps him. Well the other day I was eating a quarter of an apple and my son would not stop trying to grab it from me and put it in his mouth so eventually I just let him and it was perfect. Not only was the apple cold but it's textured, soft, and hard so it's perfect and the flavor distracts him from the pain. I made sure the apple was washed off with soap and hot water as I do with all of my produce so it was clean. I just wanted to let other mommies know how much it has helped with teething! He gets excited every time he sees an apple now lol
