Well that's awful. The only way I'd agree with removal is if the child were being forced to live as a specific gender against their will.

It's really important to know if she really was forcing the child to live as a girl as the courts claim, or if they are transgender and the mom was just being accepting. Because if it was forced then the child definitely should have been removed from her care. But if the child is transgender, then the courts have no right to remove the child, especially with the reasoning of "significant emotional harm" since letting the child transition would actually do the opposite.

I read up on the story, and apparently she started treating him like a girl when he was 4 years old. I think that's ridiculous. You can be a 4 year old boy who likes dolls or the color pink, but that doesn't mean you're automatically a transgender girl. The mom was clearly off her rocker.

If he had no say in it and she just decided that he was going to be trans then I'm sorry but I find that very f***** up and a good reason for him to be taken from that home. He should be raised as the gender he was born as until he is old enough to comprehend what/who he wants to be. That's just MY opinion on this.
