I know cramping is normal during early pregnancy, but I've also been having a severe pain right around where my left ovary is. It is a sharp stabbing pain that comes and goes. I am 7 weeks pregnant and I haven't been to the doctor yet. I go in a week and a half for my first ultrasound. Could it be an ovarian cyst? The pain is only on the left lower side. When I lay or move a certain way it is more uncomfortable than when I'm just standing or sitting. Should I be concerned? No blood, nothing like that. Should I call my doctor and have them get me in sooner? Has anybody else had this problem?
