Induction question

I'm being induced Friday at 39+1 (medical reasons) and I'm 70% effaced but not dilated and -3 station. I've read into inductions(which I probably shouldn't have) and it's kinda scaring me now. If you aren't dilated will an induction fail? Will a csection be likely?
