In Atl, i think it was 2. But my first choice section, I only had my child's father cause my mom couldn't find a ride down there. My 2nd c section I was by myself. But it really depends on if it is an emergency c section and the hospital. Just ask the doctor. Best of luck with everything

For most c-sections, it's one person. If you have to be under general anesthesia, no one is allowed to be in the OR with you.

In WV it is only one person allowed and it can be anyone you choose. That is if you are awake during the procedure like I was, otherwise it is like any other surgery and no one is allowed in. I had my mom in with me since my son's father was not fond of seeing my insides. Lol
