Struggling Emotionally with Mild Contractions

So I am 37 wks 1 day with my rainbow baby. I have my 4 year old son, and then last December I had a very early miscarriage (5 weeks and a few days).

With my son 4 years ago I NEVER had any BH, and had to be induced at 41+2 for post-date pregnancy (OB wouldn't let me go longer)...at that time my son hadn't dropped, cervix was still high, tight, closed, and not softened at all. When they placed the cervadil I felt my coat contraction ever.

This time I have had BH since 20-something weeks, and now at 37 weeks am getting occasional short lived period pain periodically. But it scares me. Logically I know this is actually a great sign, but mentally it feels scary since the last thing I ever wanted to feel during pregnancy after my miscarriage was any cramping.....

Are any other moms carrying rainbows having the same struggle???
