pain after sex??!

Hey ladies, was wanting to know if this has ever happened to you. 
After sex with my SO I go to the bathroom cause I don't want to get a UTI, but when I do my business there is an intense burning sensation. Sometimes it's more painful than others. Would this just be from friction and swelling or other reasons?

If it's directly after sex then yes it's the friction and swelling from penetration. Sometimes the skin becomes irritated, or it can be due to muscle or nerve spasms. The best thing to do if it hurts is to have a cold shower, put an ice pack on the area and do some kegel exercises to relax the spasms

Are you sure you don't already have a uti? Have you had a burning sensation before you had sex or is it only after you have sex and then you pee? Cause I have chronic Utis and interstitial cystytis so I have to live with that burning sensation and pain all my life sadly.  But for me Lube really does help and if it helps me then it can help anyone I'm sure. But make sure that you don't have sex right out of the shower its definitely gonna hurt after cause it's dry.

My boyfriend has said that I am really tight down there.. 
in the beginning we use lube, completely inexpensive and works wonders! Go to planned parenthood and ask. Little pink tubes that are water based and hypo-energetic!
