Here's the back story , I've been with my boyfriend 6 years . He's my first love and I lost my virginity to him . He's the father of my child .... is it strange or bad that I want to experience sex with other people ? .... not date them or be in a relationship... idk how I feel about only having had sex with one person ...

Could there be an underlying problem I'm not aware of ? ... consciously

I think it's very natural when you've experienced everything with one person. My SO and I have been together since high school and he went through the same thing you're talking about a few years ago. He ended up leaving me and having sex with someone else to satisfy that curiosity. This was long before we had a child though. If it would have happened now that we have a kid, I wouldn't have taken him back.
Think very hard about this if you're thinking of acting on it. Yes, it is normal to be curious, but if you love this guy, you risk throwing away all that you've built with him. I took my SO back, but it was hard to do and even harder to forgive him. It broke trust and made me look at him different. He has had to work to rebuild all he destroyed when that happened. And that's even if he were to take you back. You have a kid. I wouldn't want to fuck that up unless you're truly unhappy. You'll find the grass isn't always greener.

No. It is natural as you have only been with one guy and desire that experience that you never had. My bff is the same way. She has kids by the guy she is with. They have been together for 6yrs and she has never been with nobody else. She really wants to know what it is like to be with a different guy as well. It is normal. That is one of the reasons i dont really care about waiting till marriage to have sex. Sometimes we just want to experience different thungs with different people

Nope. It's conpletely normal from both a biological and psychological side. If you are both monogamous, you could talk about swinging.
