low dose birth control pill and break through bleeding
I started a low dose birth control pill after my period over a month ago and I've had break through bleeding now for almost 2 weeks.
I'm getting married next month and I'm supposed to start my period on my wedding day so my doc said to continuously take the pill without a break to prevent my period from coming. I've had the paraguard for almost 5 yrs now and it's like crime scene every cycle (I'm switching to the mirena when I get back from my honeymoon).
Question is, have any of you had breakthrough bleeding and if so how long did it last? I really don't want to have it on my honeymoon as the whole reason I got on the pill temporarily was to prevent having a period!
