Vitamin K and D for newborns?

Hi,
So right after birth my baby had a shot of vitamin K.
Then we moved to another country, she is 7 weeks old and nust had regular check up here. Dr. Tells us its neccersery to give baby vitamin D and K if breastfeeding, breastmilk does not contain enough amount of them. Ok, I know I should give her vitamin D. But I am not sure about K? She already had one shot, why is it still necessary? Do you breastfeed your babies and if so do you give them vitamins?

Babies bodies can't process vitamin K properly. Do some research.

My health visitor said if I was taking vitamin supplements then it wasn't necessary to give additional as baby will get it through the breast milk. 
However this is contradictory to what I read on the NHS website which clearly states that breastfed babies should have from birth. Formula fed have it added. 
Although this was only for Vit D. My multivitamin has both D and K so hopefully baby is covered.

Vitamin K is for bleeding and clotting factor. It has nothing to do with breastfeeding..

My baby had vitamin K at birth, and nothing since. I'm breastfeeding and I just take my own vitamins, I'm pretty sure that even that isn't really mandatory because baby gets what it needs from you.
