Cramps??

So I'm 29 weeks today (yay!) but all night I've been having similar to period-like cramps! Like they REALLY hurt. At one point my husband asked me to turn to him so he could try to hold me through one, but I couldn't move. My stomach even feels sore. When they happen they kind of make me want to poo, but it doesn't happen. They've been waking me up since I tried to go to sleep at like 10p and it's now almost 7a.
Baby girl is still kicking and moving, so I assume she's okay. I just don't really know why this is happening or if I should be worried??
I have an appointment today but that's not for about 7 hours, so I figured I'd see if you guys had any thoughts/advice??
FTM/first time pregnant.

Update: My doctor told me it is definitely real contractions, but I'm not going into labor just yet 🙌🏻

Call your doctor, someone should be on call at the office 24/7. Never hesitate to call!

I been having the cramping too. My vagina feels really tight as if the muscles are forcing themselves tight. I keep feeling like I have to poop, and I have cramping like I need a midol. It started yesterday after my appt. baby girl moving fine too, still have my mucus plug. Fighting and URI so coughing a lot which is making me have pee accidents where my pee comes out forced so that hurts too. Not sure what to do. It's very uncomfortable.

Sounds like real contractions, if you feel pressure like you have to push go see your Dr asap! I delivered my first at 31.4 and my contractions started the week before. Fingers crossed you keep that baby in longer to bake. I'm high risk so anytime I feel a contraction with this one I have a small panic attack

That happened to me on Saturday. I called my doctor and she told me that I was probably dehydrated. I rested and drank lots of water and they were gone the next day. Drink lots of water it will help!
