Pregnancy Announcement to Husbands Parents

This past weekend my Husband and I went to Calgary for the wedding of two of our good friends. He was one of the groomsmen and so we were a part of all the festivities over 3 days and we knew that it would be hard to hide the fact that I wasn't drinking. We were also staying at his parents house and it was his Mom's birthday, so we decided to tell them, as it would make a nice bday gift too. I was a bit leery to announce so early b/c I'm only 7 weeks but I'm so we did!! It felt so great to be able to share our excitement with someone. The above photo was is his Mom's birthday card, which we gave her on Friday. She is obsessed with our dog so we thought it would be fun to incorporate her in the announcement.
