Has anyone actually had any luck with their baby sleeping on their back in a separate sleep space (cot, bassinet, crib etc.). I feel like it's the biggest load of bull crap the nurses and doctors tell us. I understand why they want us to do it but the reality is my child will not stay asleep on her back and in a separate sleep area. Sometimes I have luck with separate sleep area on her side but most of the time the only way she sleeps is in bed with us or on us. Like how do they real expect a mom to be functional when they can't get any rest because baby is up every 10mins once put her in the preferred and recommended sleep style.
