Paragard: Post-Insertion Pain
Hi all,
I got my Paragard IUD inserted 5 days ago. I was out of work two days for the pain and cramping, and today I have finally stopped bleeding after Insertion (it was inserted on day 5 of my cycle, very little menstrual bleeding).
But now I'm still experiencing discomfort no matter what position I am in-sitting, laying down, standing. I can hardly lay on my sides at night.
When will this feeling go away? I don't want to get nervous just yet because I'm sure it is my body reacting to a foreign object in my uterus, but no medication is helping this pain.
