Birth Control

I will be going on birth control soon. I have a consult with my gyno next week, but I wanted to see what you all used and what would be the best one. I was considering the IUD but my boyfriend made a point to me last night. Not to be gross, but when he is in me deep, he hits my cervix. So if I have an IUD he may knock it out of place. I'm not sure what BC would be best for me. Any suggestion?
