My contractions got me this time 😭 and a little picture to add to it.

Kayla
My labor didn't really start off how I would have liked, but it was totally worth it. I went in to a doctors appointment at 9:20 yesterday morning, got my ultrasound check up, and then he checked to see if I had dilated anymore, I was 3 centimeters, only thing is he had told me that she had apparently done all the growing she was going to do inside of me and that it was time for her to be born, he told me she was measuring small, like 35 weeks, I had just turned 38 weeks yesterday. So I wait for them to bring the wheel chair up, then it's time to get into my room, they start my Ivy's then go to break my water, I started having pretty mild contractions, they weren't heavy, nor consistent, then they started to get stronger, I decided it was time to get my epidural. They start my epidural only to not do it right. They stuck it too far past my epidural spot, into my subderial space, they had said that since I was really tiny it was harder for them to get into the right space, while I go for about 4 hours with the epidural in, I was somewhat numb in my legs, totally numb in my back and abdomen, and then started to write numb in my fingers. Not normal right? Not at all. So they gave me three choices, to get it redone, to move it and have the chances of it either working, or not working at all, and then to just take the whole thing out. I chose to get it redone, she gets done redoing it and finally MY LEGS ARE NUMB, NO MORE FEELING CONTRACTIONS in my private spot, which was the only spot I felt them in after my first epidural, maybe an hour later after I had gotten it redone I felt the need to push, I was completely at 10 cm from 12:20 to 7:20 I was waiting for myself to get bigger and thinned out, finally at 7:25 I'm good to go, start pushing, pushed for maybe 5 contractions, 20 minutes, and she was here! Everything went great, except that I had a STUDENT in high school do my first epidural. Either way, I'm very blessed to have my daughter here now ! Thank y'all for listening !
