Today my beautiful four month old baby boy fell asleep on my lap so I put him in his swing so I could run to the bathroom. I didn't strap him in because I thought he was too asleep to move. I'm in the bathroom and I heard a thud. My poor baby scooted right out of his swing and landed on the floor 😭. The swing isn't even a foot off the ground and he stopped crying when I picked him up but I just bawled my eyes out and snuggled him for hours. I feel so horrible. I keep crying. I never wanted to cause my baby harm. I've been so careful and now this happens. He's completely fine. I think it scared him more than if hurt. He landed on his belly and didn't land on anything (thank god!). I just feel like such a bad mother! 😭😭 please, can anyone share some stories if this has happened to you?
