Who to tell & when?

I haven't told anyone yet (apart from my husband of course) and I don't feel ready to tell anyone yet. I haven't even got my head around it myself.
My husband thinks we should tell our parents but he's close to his Mom & I'm not really close with mine. I do have close friends who I wouldn't mind telling, and my sister, but she tells my Mom everything & if I told my Mom I'd feel like I had to tell my brothers too & it just feels like it'd snowball 🙈 I'd rather just wait until Xmas if we can.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Well hubby knows and my coworkers know. I told my husband the day I found out and my coworkers the Monday after. We had to do fertility treatments so my coworkers were aware of my struggles and tended to be the ones I talked to about it. We are not telling family until Thanksgiving which is so hard for me. I feel like people are going to know because I'm going to be acting weird. Facebook and the rest of the world with the exception of close friends will not find out about our little one until the second trimester.

This is my first pregnancy, I told my mom the day I found out. I've told a few close friends. While it's still early, I wanted to share my excitement! God forbid anything bad were to happen, we'd have the support of the people closest to us :)

I am very close with my mother and see her daily, so I think she will figure it out before we even say anything... But we are going to try and wait to tell the families at Christmas. The rest of the people in our lives will find out in my second trimester.

Sam, my partner says we should say nothing until our first scan is out of the way, and I agreed but I told my auntie and my little sister as I trust them with my life but he doesn't know, :(:(

We have been trying for 2+ years and my husband wants to wait a bit to tell family. I have told a few close  girlfriends, two of whom also experienced infertility. The only friend in the area I have told ismy friend who is getting married in April...because I an in the wedding and will hopefully need a bigger dress! !!!

I want to tell my sister and my mom but husband wants to be fair to his mom and we don't want her to get to excited. ..however I am hosting  Thanksgiving so I think they might figure out if I an under the weather.

I really hope this sticks  but I feel so lucky to even be pregnant ---we had given up after a not great experience at the fertility clinic.

Of course I am still super early,  4 weeks 3 days

We're waiting to tell everyone at Christmas. Both families and his children from another marriage.

I had to tell my co-teacher because she was worried when I got sick five times in one day and kept saying I'm fine 😊 but other than her it's just me and my

This is my second pregnancy and our 1st rainbow baby. With my first pregnancy we announced at my father in laws birthday at 7 weeks. I miscarried at 10 weeks and at that point all of our family had known for a few weeks and our friends were starting to find out. It was terrible having to tell everyone we lost it but it was great having support.

With this pregnancy we've actually already told our parents and 1 sibling. We plan to tell family either at thanksgiving or with the rest of the world at Christmas. I was due with my first pregnancy on 12/24 so this will be a great Christmas surprise!

It comes down to personal preference.

I decided not to tell my dad until after the first trimester, because I know he would (accidentally!) make some insensitive remarks if I miscarry. Because we are waiting to tell him, we are also waiting to tell my in-laws and our siblings. However, if anything does go wrong, I don't want us to go through it alone, so we each decided to tell one close friend. After we hear the heartbeat, we may tell a few more people, or siblings. It's totally a personal call! Our logic was, "Who would we want to talk to or not talk to about it if we lost the pregnancy?"
