So I am 11 weeks and I have always had a dog my entire life. We live in a house that accepts pets. My husband is totally okay with me wanting to add a puppy into the mix. I mentioned it to my sister and she swears I shouldn't get one whilst pregnant because I won't show it the love it needs and it'll be harder for me. Right now I work 3 twelve hour shifts a week at a hospital and my husband works about 35 hours a week too. Our schedules are opposite. He gets days off while I work and I get days off while he works. We live in a new city and I have no girlfriends or family here. I waste my days off just alone. I am so lonely. I think I could handle a puppy and a newborn down the road. Has anyone else ever had to go through this? Has it worked out for you? Was it too difficult?
