How long does your nursing sessions last?

Hey, mommies! I'm wondering how much time does your LO spend on latching. Mine is getting faster and faster, around 8-12 min on both breasts. Is it too short? She's still EBF + 1 solid meal, eating 6 times per day, unfortunately 1 of them - nighttime. How about you?

Mine has always eaten quickly and tended to take smaller meals but more frequently.

She's now 6.5 months and typically nurses for 6-8 minutes on one side (I'd estimate she gets 3-4.5 ounces). If she's feeling really hungry she'll take the other side but otherwise she waits 1-4 hours to drink more.

Mine has always been a fast nurser--she is usually done with both sides in under ten minutes and she's been that way since August. She's currently eating seven times a day (twice at night which I am soooo ready to be done with) and one meal of solids.

For my daughter it depends, mostly its short like 3 to 5 min but multiple times during the day and at night :). We co sleep so its fine with me. Before bedtime she nurses a bit longer though, like 10 min.

My son would spend all day on the boob if I let him lol but he seriously loves it. I've noticed if I let him nurse for more than 6-8 minutes he will spit up everywhere. So I limit feeding to about 6-7 minutes. He seems full. Sometimes if he fusses when I pull him off, I'll put him back on for a couple minutes.

Mine has continued getting faster and faster, she's 6 months and now only spend 3/4 minutes on each side! And same as yours has 6 meals, 1 of which is in the night.
