33 weeks, hiccups?? Worried

Hey everyone. I'm 33 weeks and 2 days, for the past week or so my baby has been getting the hiccups alot. Like 6-7 times a day lasting about 10-20 minutes at a time. This morning he has already had 2 episodes of the hiccups and I got a little worried after looking up on the Internet  ( I know, big no no) and seeing that it could be his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.

Fwiw my baby girl had the hiccups constantly during the last 10 weeks of my pregnancy. I felt like it was all she did was hiccup. The umbilical cord was never wrapped around her neck and she was born healthy (even though she was almost 2 weeks late) and she is a happy and beautiful 7 week old baby now. She still constantly has the hiccups (like 5-6 times a day!) her drs aren't worried at all and say it's normal and all is well. I would obviously express your concerns to your OB but I just wanted to share my experience with you.

My son hiccups all the time and I jokingly tease him about drinking too much amniotic fluid again (I know I'm weird,  I talk to my belly all day long).  At the last growth scan,  there was no cord wrapped around his neck.  We did see him drinking amniotic fluid though.

Ever since I hit 30wks, (I'm currently 32wks now), my baby gets hiccups multiple times each day.  I read and was told that it's completely normal; apparently, as baby is learning the breathing motion, at times a little bit of amniotic fluid gets in their lungs so their diaphragm works to push the water out of the lungs.  Hence all of the hiccups!  I myself find it reassuring, since it's an additional movement I get to feel from baby throughout the day :).

My son got hiccups all the time and was born healthy as ever. He was born with the cord around his neck but that is very common. Hiccups are caused from baby practicing breathing so it's actually a good thing when they get them. My second one gets them all the time too and I'm 28 weeks.

Hiccups was the really only movement my sister ever had with her son. He's only kinda twist and turn but got hiccups all the time. He's 10 months now and still gets them all the time so I wouldn't be concerned
